Qulifier 1.4 Recap – 3 Squares
Wow what a night! Warmer weather, heated patio…
Thanks as always to everyone for coming down. It’s been great to see the same people coming out every week to support the beer community and help us find the Top Brewer! I have to say that this was one of my personal favorite nights, especially considering we didn’t know what to expect as it was our first event in the burbs. Thanks everyone for making it fun!
Anyway, this was the last qualifier for the first round of the competition! I know everyone was real impressed by the quality of the beer the last few weeks. And tonight, there were some REAL good beers. Both the Porter and Pumpkin Porter were phenomenal. The Strong ale, Rye, and Imperial IPA all should have been in the running too… But tonight, it was probably the most interesting beer, one that had the praise of, “being the most drinkable…” won.
After the cups were cleared and the votes were tallied we are proud to announce the final qualifier. Congrats to Ted Weidman on his phenomenal Blonde American IPA!
He will join the winner’s circle for the First Round of the Top Brewer! Thanks to all the brewers that participated, we’ll begin accepting applications for Round 2 today, event details to be announced.
Here are your list of brewers that will head to the finals. We’ll be announcing the full set of rules and game changers early next week on the website. If you’re one of the brewers in the finals, you will be getting a pile of ingredients! We’ll be emailing you about where to pick this up.
